Tom Parks brings a rare combination to the CODE DXB stage: he has built events from the inside and taught in front of a room. As former Director of Conferences at ATEX International Exhibitions, he led the delivery of major events across the Middle East and Africa, running everything from programme development to speaker curation for some of the region's largest gatherings. He has since worked as a financial influencer and educator and founded his own business, giving him a working knowledge of both sides of the stage: what an audience actually wants, and what it takes to hold their attention once you have it. As host of both Workforce Live and Training Live, Tom keeps two days of unscripted programming moving and keeps 600 delegates in it. This format has no autocue and no safety net, with live votes, crowd-picked questions and one unannounced moment each day that nobody sees coming, including him. It needs someone who can read a room in real time and steer it without ever slowing it down.
